Getting to Know Lutz and the Homes for Sale

To me Lutz is a very interesting area, mainly because part of Lutz is in Hillsborough County and the other part of Lutz is in Pasco County. Also you have a lot of real small older homes and then on the reverse you have some real nice luxury homes in Lutz, so it is really diverse. It is also in a very convenient location to most people. Most of it is right off Dale Mabry or Livingston and US Highway 41; it is all up in that area. There are a lot of lakes in Lutz, so if you want to live on the water or on a lake it could be a really good option.
Some luxury communities in Lutz are going to be Cheval. Cheval is very nice, it is a huge community, homes ranging anywhere from $200,000 up to over a million dollars. There are three guard gates, it has a great golf course, and they are in the process of redoing the club house out there. They have tennis courts with tennis pros and it is a very convenient location right off Dale Mabry.
There are also other areas; the Sanctuary in Livingston is very nice, Wellington is very nice. If you want a community that is more affordable, maybe for first time home buyers, you might look at the Oak Grove community or the Willow Bend community. Then there are just a lot of little communities scattered all throughout Lutz, some of them sitting on the water which is really nice. Now, a few of these are skiable lakes, most of them are not skiable lakes.
Overall, as far as areas Lutz is very, very diverse, probably more diverse than any area to live in the Tampa Bay area. It is also just south of State Road 54, so if you want to head over to the water, head over to Tarpon Springs or even Clearwater you could just shoot right down State Road 54. If you are on the west side of Lutz, say in Cheval, you have the Veterans Expressway to get into South or Downtown Tampa is right there as well. So it could be very convenient depending on what area of Lutz you live in.
