Wiregrass Ranch: Welcome to a New Era in Comprehensive Community Development

The developers of Wiregrass Ranch are striving to create a truly comprehensive, well planned, mixed-use community that will appeal to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Once completed, Wiregrass Ranch will be an extraordinary 5,022 acre community located at the intersection of State Road 56 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, one of the fastest growing residential areas in all of the Sunshine State.

Wiregrass Ranch is set to be developed in four phases over the course of the next 13 years. Throughout this time period, a total of approximately 16,000 residential properties will be constructed, including approximately 10,000 single family residences and over 5,000 multi-family units. There will be a blending of different types of residences to appeal to everyone including young families to people heading into their Golden Years. In addition to a wide spectrum of residential property options, Wiregrass Ranch will also be home to over 3,000,000 square feet of retail and commercial property development. At the center – quite literally – of the retail development will be a 750,000 square foot lifestyle center.

While the lifestyle center is an amazing retail area located in the heart of Wiregrass Ranch, it really is designed to be so much more. Ultimately, the town center retail development that is The Shops at Wiregrass Ranch will offer everything from shopping and dining, to entertainment and cultural activities. The Shops at Wiregrass Ranch will be a unique area in which the entire community will come together. Wiregrass Ranch will also have a high school, a middle school and four elementary schools. In addition, the Pasco-Hillsborough Community College will construct a new branch campus at Wiregrass Ranch.

Pasco County will be opening a full service governmental center at Wiregrass Ranch to serve the needs of the residents of the community. Plans are also underway to construct a 100 bed medical center to provide for the healthcare needs of the men, women and children that will call Wiregrass Ranch home. Of course, no Floridian community is complete without recreational opportunities. Towards that end, a national tennis center is part of the plan for Wiregrass Ranch. And, naturally, first class golf courses are also on the slate for development at Wiregrass Ranch. Moreover, all of the residential, commercial and retail construction at Wiregrass Ranch is being undertaken with an eye to maximizing green spaces throughout the community.
